Well, I keep falling off the face of the planet. While gone, I did a Thing:

I did many Things, actually, but this one I am incongruously proud of. After waffling and chickening out a time or two before, it feels ridiculously good to just do it. Also, unnatural hair color was one of Dad’s over-his-dead-body deals. Kind of like texting. Guess he’s spinning in his urn right about now. Just because he’s dead doesn’t mean I’ll stop giving him a hard time; he should have known better.
The write-a-thon is ongoing. Two hours a day is a lot harder than I anticipated, but I’m chipping away at the editing iceberg and loving it. (I know; I’m strange.)
Speaking of icebergs, we could use one up here. Maine has officially decided to allow summer this year. I am all for this, but wow, I need a little more time to adjust.
Things I’m looking forward to: Readercon next week, my birthday the week after, and a visit from one of my best friends whom I haven’t seen in two years. There will be shenanigans.
How’s your summer shaping up?
Less dismal than it has been 4 the last couple of yrs. I may have actually lucked out, and found empl…. uh wait___was that a rhetorical question? 🙂
Not rhetorical at all! So glad this is a better summer for you, Phil.
