You Can Tell I’m A Fantasy Writer

I came across a book the other day at work titled Small Craft Advisory. Now normally, you’d think that meant the book had something to do with boats. (It did.) My brain? It went something like this:

Brain: Awesome! That’s a great name for a book on witchcraft!

Me: (After taking a second look.) No, brain. That book is exactly what it sounds like.

Brain: … That’s disappointing.

Until my double-take, I seriously thought the book was about spells and witchcraft. I still like my version better.
