The best thing about great stories is that they inspire more stories. It’s the same with any art form.
My favorite K-drama (Faith, in case you were wondering) always does this: I get fantastic ideas, mostly leaning more towards film project things, and productivity when not staring at a screen soars.
The last week or so, I’ve been averaging at most a page a day in my rough draft. Then today, I finished an excellent book (Seraphina, by Rachel Hartman), sat down to write, and looked up three pages later. It hasn’t flowed that well in a couple weeks, and I know it’s not coincidence.
So talk to me: what was the last thing that got you writing, or painting, or dancing, or anything else?
